Meuse and Champagne Regions

I came up with a great 5 day plan for west of Metz until I found out that 3 of the 5 hostels were booked. This meant that I missed seeing Chalons-en-Champagne (Champagne capital!!!!!), St Mihiel (another historical site from 1914-18) and Nancy, and instead meant I had to cycle out (2 days) and back (similiar routes). The upside, i left all my luggage at Verdun and only carried one overnite bag to and from Reims (it was a 240km round trip!!). ONE CANèT DO EVERYTHING.
